Focus on pre-contract - delivering better outcomes
Our infrastructure contractor at Heathrow wanted a new approach to deliver their programme of works using a collaborative ‘enterprise’ delivery model, rather than traditional transactional arrangements.
We were able to deploy a bespoke procurement strategy developed by us in response to their needs. Intended to encourage innovation, deliver better outcomes and reduce waste in the delivery process, we proposed the adoption of alliancing concepts within programmes of work, and, in doing so, developing collaboration and longer-term relationships within the delivery team and their supply chain. This strategy aligns to several Project 13 principles in developing simple collaboration, to integrated functions and relationships to a high performing enterprise model.
